Alongside our commercial partners, we have often had the change to produce pneumatic cylinders for heavy duty applications which require, in addition to an increased thrust and traction force, better performance in terms of durability and reliability. 

Thanks to years of experience in implementing standard and special solutions for industries such as Railways, Offshore, Petrochemical and Metalworking, we have specialized in the design of pneumatic cylinders capable of offering high performance even in these working environments.

 As a matter of fact, in these applications cylinders must be able to perform with high loads to handle together with an increased wear resistance. 

Besides the greater loads the cylinders must be able to move, the work environments are characterized by stresses such as high temperatures changes, direct or indirect atmospheric agents and strong mechanical stress. 

When designing, we often encounter the development of special cylinders for heavy duty applications even with required strokes of 900-1000 mm, which require greater guarantees in term of piston rod guidance in order to withstand additional side loads. 

The choice of materials, is strictly linked to the contact with substances present in the working environment; whether they are atmospheric agents, solutions used for washing machine parts or dirt that can settle on the piston rod.
